Los Angeles, CA — September 16, 2014. One with the Water Implements Lean Six Sigma. One with the Water® has implemented Lean Six Sigma in order to maintain their commitment as a nonprofit focused on transparency and accountability. The Lean Six Sigma program initiatives were implemented in order to continue assuring donors that 92% to 100% of all donations and grants are used for programs furthering the One with the Water Mission:

To teach the life skill of swimming to enrich the lives of everyone, including children and adults with special needs and low-income families, empowering them with confidence and accomplishment.

“We have worked hard to showcase our progress toward our mission, and our long-held belief in being transparent about our work, to our constituents,” said Kenneth Rippetoe, Founder and Executive Director. “As a GuideStar Exchange participant, we use their platform to share a wealth of up-to-date information about our work to our supporters and GuideStar’s immense online audience of nonprofits, grant makers, individual donors, and the media.”
